Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Rinse kale and remove stems. Role kale leaves together and then cut into skinny strips.
  2. Using a large pan, add olive oil, chopped onions, garlic, and linguica. Saute for a few minutes.
  3. Add 13 cups of water. Then add potatoes.
  4. When water is boiling, add kale.
  5. When potatoes are cooked, remove them, mash the potatoes and then add them back into the water.
  6. Add a tablespoon of salt (more or less depending on your taste).
  7. Allow soup to cook for 30 minutes.
