Will my email address be shown on the website?
No. Your email address is never displayed on the website. It is only used during registration. You can also log in with your email address.
Where can I find a list of all of the recipes on the website?
The main navigation links at the top of the website has a link called All Recipes. Click All Recipes and you can browse through all of the recipes on the website.
How do I search for recipes?
There are a number of options when searching for recipes.
You can get very specific with searching as well. For example, if I wanted all Portuguese Dessert recipes for Christmas with the word Chocolate in them, I would enter the following in the Search Recipes form:
What do the Sort By Name and Sort By Time options do?
These allow you to change the order of the list of recipes.
A user status is based on how many recipes the user has published. The more recipes you get published, the higher your status is on the site! Here are all the statuses:
I forgot my password, what do I do? [Registered Users Only]
On the Log In page, click the link that says “Lost Password”. Enter your username or email address and click “Get New Password”. You will receive a link to create a new password via email.
How do I change my password? [Registered Users Only]
Once you’re registered and signed in, you will see the link “Update your Profile” under User Options. Enter your new password under Change Password and click Update Profile.
How do I submit a recipe? [Registered Users Only]
Once you’re registered and signed in, you will see the link “Add a Recipe” under User Options. Be sure to fill out all required fields, which are marked with a *.
Don’t see a Course, Cuisine, or Occasion in the list? Contact us and we can add it!
Click the plus sign to add individual ingredients and instructions.
How do I edit a recipe I submitted? [Registered Users Only]
We don’t want to have too many chefs in the kitchen if you know what I mean! So we don’t provide access to edit your recipes. Before we publish a recipe, we do review it to make sure it makes sense and is free of errors. However, if you notice you missed an ingredient or wanted to add more details, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will make any necessary updates. If you want to send us a photo of your recipe after it has already been published, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I save my favorite recipes? [Registered Users Only]
Once you’re registered and signed in, select a recipe you want to save. Click “Save Recipe” to save your recipe.
Where can I find a list of recipes that I’ve saved as my favorites? [Registered Users Only]
Once you’re registered and signed in, you will see the link “View your Favorites” under User Options.
How do I remove my favorite recipes? [Registered Users Only]

Yes you sure can! Once you’re registered and signed in, you will see the link “Update your Profile” under User Options. With every published recipe that you submit, we display the following information from your Profile:
How do I delete my account? [Registered Users Only]
We’d hate to see you go, but if you no longer wish to have an account with us, feel free to contact us and provide your username and we will delete your account. Any recipes that you submitted and were published will be associated to one of our administrators.
