You’ve made a tasty cake and spread that yummy frosting all over. You place it in a container and drive to the party. At the party, you remove the cake from the container and oh no! Part of the frosting is sticking to the side of the container. What a mess! How can you transport a cake without damaging the frosting?

The answer is actually quite simple! Add toothpicks around the cake making sure they point out and away. Then put some plastic wrap over the toothpicks to cover the cake. The toothpicks and plastic wrap form a barrier. Even if the cake slides and hits the side of the container, it won’t damage the frosting. When  you arrive at the party, remove the plastic wrap and toothpicks, smooth over the holes, and your cake is perfect!
